“Life is short. Time is ticking away too quickly to not live life your way.”
—Nancy Salmeron
I was looking at my ten-year-old daughter, Miranda, last night and noticed how fast she is growing. I realized how time is of the essence and stops for no one. Miranda is a beautiful, young lady with a quirky sense of humor and a compassionate, loving heart. She instills peace and calm in her seventeen-year-old brother, Julian, who is on the autism spectrum. She brings laughter to her dad and me with her sarcastic, but fun personality. I am blessed that her wonderful soul picked us to be her parents. Miranda has completed our family. As I observed her while she brushed her hair to get ready for bed, I realized that ten years went by fast and wondered where time went. Her life and her soul have taught me many lessons about life. By being in my daughter’s presence, I rediscovered that we must not waste time by being around people who take away our joy. Time is fleeting, and we must stop caring what other people think. Miranda also reminds me of the importance of living a life that is filled with peace and love. In realizing how fast time evaporates, I became aware that you must always have the courage to follow your heart by letting your intuition be your guide. My sweet, little girl has inspired me to live my life to the fullest because life is short; there are no replays or rewinds. Remember what Buddha said, “The trouble is, you think you have time.” But we really don’t. Today, let’s talk about how to love and respect every moment of your life.
Be around those people who inspire joy.
To live life your way and to cherish every moment of your life, be around people who love, encourage, and inspire joy! We are the company we keep. So, look around you and tell me who is inspiring you to believe in yourself and love yourself. Those are the people who you must always keep and never lose. In my life I am blessed to have a few that I keep close, but I have also eliminated those who didn’t inspire joy. You must do the same. Let go of those individuals who don’t have the best intentions for you and who bring you down.
Find peace and love in everything you do.
Don’t waste your life. Approach life with peace and love. Be a source of calm and love to others, but also remember to love yourself first. When fear appears, dim its light with the love that is in your heart. Remember that peace is a place that you hold in your heart. This means that things can fall apart, but you are content because you approach every situation in your life with peace and love.
Have the courage to follow your heart and let your intuition be your guide.
To be mindful of your time on earth and to follow your heart, you must be connected to your intuition. It takes strength and courage to follow your heart, but let your intuition be the guide. Whenever you feel fearful or insecure, listen to the subtle, inner voice which knows the way. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it copying the lives of others. Do your own thing. Do what makes you come alive and always let your intuition be your guide.
Life is happening with or without our consent. Time is passing. We think we have time, but we really don’t. Today, I want to encourage you to value your life by being around those who inspire you and bring you joy. Life will become beautiful for you when you find peace and love in everything you do. You will not waste your life if you follow your heart and let your intuition be your guide. Never stay in a relationship or job you hate. Always follow your dreams. And remember to stay present and savor the good, bad, and ugly of life because that is how you will grow. Until next time, Believe. Change. Become.
Sending many blessings and much love your way!
Nancy😊
